Homework:

Weekly journal entries

are due every Friday.

​

All journal entries should 

be in friendly letter 

format with a date, 

greeting, body of the 

letter, closing, and 

signature. Students have

practiced this in class.

​

There are guidelines in

the front of their journals

that suggest topics to 

write about. Journal 

entries should not be fact listing. Rather, they should include thoughts about their reading so far. 

​
